I’m doing what, now?

I'm hiking the Florida Trail!  I'm tackling it as a through hike, meaning I intend to do it end-to-end in a single go. The trail is one of 11 National Scenic Trails, with the Appalachian Trail and Pacific Crest Trail being the most famous. This one runs about 1000 to 1100 miles from the northern part of the Everglades in southern Florida(yes, it starts in a swamp!), north to the panhandle, then west to a choice of finishes at either Gulf Islands National Seashore by Pensacola or the Florida/Alabama state line. Hmm, beach or Alabama woods?  Both? Plenty of time to decide, should I get that far.  The hike will take a little over two months -  I estimate 66 days of hiking and 6 rest days. How it actually works out we shall see. Onward!
